The Iron Rail Bed

Bedroom Furniture

A Legacy Reclaimed. A Story Preserved.

From the historic waterfront of Astoria, Oregon, comes a remarkable piece of American heritage.

Crafted from reclaimed Douglas fir pilings recovered from beneath the Columbia River, the Astoria Waterfront Collection celebrates timber that has endured generations. Preserved beneath layers of river sediment, this extraordinary wood reveals distinctive grain patterns, rich natural character, and the unmistakable beauty of its history.

Handcrafted by Forged Elegance, the Heritage Timber and Steel Bed pairs this historic wood with architectural steel, creating a striking statement piece for refined mountain homes, Western estates, and distinctive interiors. Each bed receives a clear protective finish that enhances the natural gran, rich tones, and distincive character of the historic Douglas fir.
