The substantial headboard features historic barnwood inlaid within its steel framework, accented by an original sculptural arrangement of metal leaves individually handcrafted by Forged Elegance artist Paul Shepherd. Permanently incorporated into the headboard, this distinctive artwork adds an understated artistic signature without overpowering the beauty of the reclaimed timber.

The coordinating footboard continues the combination of historic wood and architectural steel, bringing strength, balance, and visual continuity to the design.
