The Wisconsin Heritage Collection
Representing America — Barnwood • Steel • Heritage
Some materials carry more than character. They carry the stories of the people who came before us.
The reclaimed timber featured in this handcrafted bench originated from a historic family barn near Vesper, Wisconsin, built in the late 1800s.
During the Great Depression, the family lost their farm over just $50 in unpaid property taxes. In a remarkable testament to determination and resilience, they purchased the property back the following year, preserving their family's connection to the land.
Generations later, the barn's weathered timbers found their way west, where they were given new life through the craftsmanship of Forged Elegance.
The Wisconsin Heritage Bench brings together the rich patina of reclaimed barnwood, handcrafted forged steel legs, and authentic buffalo hide. The result is a distinctive piece that celebrates the enduring spirit of American craftsmanship and the rugged elegance of the West.
Every knot, weathered surface, and natural imperfection reflects the timber's extraordinary journey through time.
Equally at home in a luxury mountain retreat, Western estate, or thoughtfully designed contemporary residence, this bench is more than a place to sit. It is a piece of American history, preserved for generations to come.
